SIKKIM PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
are invited from eligible local candidates for filling up of 120 posts of Post Graduate Teacher through direct recruitment on temporary regular basis for the period of 8 (eight) years in the Government School under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim.
Application form should be filled up by the candidate himself/herself and submitted in the office of Joint Director of HRDD in their respective district along with original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’. Last date for submission of filled-in application form is Friday the 05th August, 2011.
1. FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT: 120 posts
(i) Master’s Degree in respective subject with B Ed.
a) M.A. B.Ed (History, Pol. Science, Geography, Sociology,Economics)
b) M.Sc. B.Ed (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology).
c) M.Com. B.Ed.
d) M.A. B.Ed (Major Languages Nepali, English, Hindi).
(ii) Master Degree without B.Ed- with 50% and above for General category and 45% and above for reserved category in respective subject can also apply. On selection, they shall be given conditional appointment for five years and they should acquire the B.Ed qualification within 5 years, failing which their services will be terminated without any notice.
2. FOR INSERVICE REGULAR GRADUATE TEACHERS: 38 posts
(i) Masters Degree in respective subject with B.Ed.
(ii) Experience of 8 yrs of regular service as Graduate teacher in government schools as on 30.06.2011.
